Original quarter blue cloth, pictorial paper boards. Illustrated by Wain with 6 color plates and black-and-white images on every text page, 9 of which are double-page and 95% of which are of cats. 144 pages. Ink owner name on front pastedown, gift inscription on front fly leaf. Leaves uniformly toned. Edgewear to boards, with faint rubbing and barely visible abrasion lines to glazed paper of rear board.
