HOWEVER the front board of vol. I with front end pages has detached from text block and needs skillful repair. Bumped corners and some rubbing along edges. 9" x 6".

A tremendous association copy: Bookplate of WW Rockhill (author of Land of the Lamas) AND with a three page handwritten letter from YULE to Rockhill talking about this edition of the book and some other information. Yule mentions he is glad that Rockhill came to see him. Also laid inside the book is a notice of a lecture by Yule (obviously attended by Rockhill).
