The binding is moderately worn; there are newspaper clippings taped onto the front paste down and on the front flyleaf resulting in large squares of browning on the half title and the title page. The text of the booklet itself is clean.

Partly a brief autobiography of this professor who fought in WWI and who taught at Guilford College after 1935 with a sampling of some of his poems.
