Washington, DC: National Geographic Society, 1927. 768pp, illus., bound w/out covers, brown leather w/ cloth to boards, 4 raised bars to spine, gilt lettering, slight shelfwear, slight foxing to 1st & last pgs & pg edges, slight rubbing to rear cover, contents clean & bright, heavy -may require extra shipping, I have a run of these from approx. 1913 - 1932, with a few missing volumes, & a couple missing issues, all with matching bindings, most in very good condition, a few scuff marks, would be willing to price as a lot.. Three-Quarter Leather. Good +/No Jacket.

Very Good. 768 p., clean and unmarked; many fabulous period photos, the sections on Alsace and on Jerusalem are full-page and in color; original artwork includes fold-out color art reproduction of "Vasco Da Gama at the Court of the Zamorin of Calicut" by Jose Velloso Salgado; binding firm; half-leather boards with gilt lettering between raised bands on spine have a bit of rubbing and bumping.
