Austin Abbey Rare Books specializes in the artistic interpretation of book content with an emphasis on publisher's decorative cloth of the 19th and 20th centuries, fine bindings, historic bindings, illustrated books and private press. We also have a fascination for Americana and travel as well as art-based ephemera and manuscript material, and also enjoy working with early texts. We buy entire collections as well as individual items and will create libraries or collections for collectors and institutions based on specific needs. We are exhibitors at book fairs in Boston, New York and Washington, DC as well as smaller fairs across the East Coast of the United States.
