Signed by Sir Robert Hutchison at top of first page. Hutchison served as President of the Royal Society of Medicine and the Royal College of Physicians. He was also well known as the original editor of the medical books, Clinical Methods and Food and the Principles of Dietetics. A very scarce autograph. Original tie-binding intact. Light wear to edge of front cover.
