He is the author of his own New World Series that includes "World Enough, and Time", "Time's Dark Laughter" and "Timefall" as well as "The Echo Vector." 80's geeks (collectors) like me know Kahn as the author of "The Goonies", "Return of the Jedi", "E.T." and "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom."<br /> His latest novel is his first stab at Civil War era America. Part love story, part Barnum sideshow, part wartime drama, "Matamoros" reads like classic McMurtry.
