About This Item
Catalogue for an exhibition held January 24 - May 17, 2014 at Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center, showcasing Homire's life drawing and poetry. Short introduction by exhibition curator Connie Bostic. 48 pages. Bound in semigloss pictorial wrappers. NEW.
Cynthia Homire came to Black Mountain College to study pottery with David Weinrib and Karen Karnes, and later married fellow BMC alum Jorge Fick. They held life drawing classes in their studio for a number of years, and as her eyesight began to fail, Homire wrote poetry.
