A self-published treatise on good governance intended for the commoner (industrial or agrarian) of the early 1940s USA. The author, the heir of a family of manufacturers and factory-owners in New York, and a corporate executive, offers thoughts on how to "repair" government so that it returns to the principles outlined in the Constitution. The plan views national government and production, federal agencies (WPA, FHA), and employment for women as all threats to a constitutional republic, arguing instead for states' rights.
