Rovner, on the USO Jewish Welfare Board in Gainesville, TX. Silver, the chairman of the Appeal, writes on the status of the Zionist movement during the war. The title is an echo of an order by Marshal Foch, quoted in the text: "We have been beaten on the right; we have been shattered on our left; our center is broken. I have issued orders to advance on all fronts.

Syracuse: LightWork, 1994. Magazine. [8]p., stapled wraps, 8.5x8 inches, profusely illus., wraps lightly worn and soiled else very good condition. Not dated but latest photo is from 1994. The Jewish photographer documents her trip to Romania to retrace the route her family took as refugees in 1945.

Cartagena Colombia: Bajo los Auspicios del Gobierno de la Republica de Colombia, 1985. Pamphlet. 37p., softbound pamphlet in 8x5.5 inch printed wraps, professionally printed throughout. Endsheets bear a faint uneven grey glaze from mildewed wet glue in the bindery (we think), plus small hazy spots on adjacent leaves, no mustiness, no ownership or other markings, sound copy in all other respects.

Washington DC: Education About Communism Through Refugees Program, 1970. Pamphlet. [4]p., stapled wraps, 3.75x9 inches, date penciled on rear wrap else very good condition. The program was sponsored by the All American Conference to Combat Communism. The penciled date is 1970, but the included testimonials are about the 1965-66 program.

New York: ERC, 1985. Two issues of the newsletter, 8p. each, 8.5x11 inches, very good. Numbers present are vol. 2 no. 2 and vol. 3 no. 1. Addresses humanitarian issues, from perspective sympathetic to the Eritrean People's Liberation Front.

Washington DC: SHARE (Salvadorean Humanitarian Aid, Research, and Education Foundation), 1985. Four issues of the newsletter, 8.5x11 inches, eight to ten pages per issue, last issue rather toned, otherwise minor wear, with a yellowed rectangle on rear cover where address labels have come off. Issues present are vol. 4 nos 4 and 5, Vol. 5 nos. 1 and 2. Reports on mistreatment of refugees, including a report by Archbishop Quinn of San Francisco.
