Issues present are Vol. 1 nos. 6-9, vol. 2 nos. 1-3, 6-8. States-rights paper opposed to federally mandated integration, suspicious of communist influence on government. Much material about plans for a new conservative party and their foiling.

Pasadena, CA: Network of Patriotic Letter Writers, 1966. Broadside. 11x17 inch sheet printed both sides, horizontal fold crease, otherwise very good. Includes the pro-segregation title tract by Wilkinson, pastor of the Hatcher Memorial Baptist Church in Richmond, VA, as well as shorter pieces reprinted from other sources criticizing the National Council of Churches for having Communist authors on its reading list.

Inscribed by Campomanes inside cover, with his signature on the title page. Lectures on re-framing American Studies in a Phlippine Context, U.S. Foreign policy, and racial segregation in the U.S., among other topics.

Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, 1948. Pamphlet. 53p. staplebound pamphlet, ownership signature on cover, short tear at top of spine, otherwise minor wear. Compiled from Sprigle's series in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette detailing his travels in the South disguised as a Black man, aided by connections with the NAACP, which had hoped that his reportage would aid the battle to end segregation. Hodding Carter's response argues that segregation is unfairly portrayed and that the situation in the South was improving. Sprigle's account was published in expanded form the following year as "In the land of Jim Crow." His work preceded a similar but more famous effort by John Howard Griffin, who dyed his skin black to experience segregation; Griffin published "Black Like Me" in 1961. Both of them were criticized by Alisha Gaines in her 2017 book "Black for a day: white fantasies of race and empathy.

Los Angeles: Keep America Committee, 1967. 11x8.5 leaflet, neatly creased from folding. Pro-segregation article stating that the 14th amendment is a fraud. The Keep America Committee reprinted articles and sent them to a large mailing list around the country, in a pre-social media form of propaganda.

POV is of course "anti-defamation" of any group and specifically a defense the of African American mind. A sound and sharp, perfectly clean and unmarked. G471. As explained on the copyright page here, this text is an excerpt from Pettigrew's lengthy study "A Profile of the Negro American" published in 1964.

Distributed by the Christian Separatist Church Society (with offices in Kodak, TN and New South Wales), white nationalist religious organization founded and led by Herrell. Quoted scripture is from Herrell's own translation of the Bible ("Anointed Standard Translation").
