American Heritage, 1964. Hardcover. Very Good. The Historical Record of the Death of President Kennedy." With an introduction by historian Bruce Catton. No jacket, assuming as issued as front pictorial cover featured full-color photo of Mr. Kennedy in the motorcade. This volume has "The Chicago Sun-Times" and "The Chicago Daily News" printed on the front boards -- were these printed as a giveaway for subscribers?? Can't tell, but for Kennedy buffs, this is an invaluable peek into the days of Nov 22-26, 1963. Amazing photographs, in both color and b/w, some that I'd not seen before, and wonderful copies of the eulogies given at the funeral, lists of foreign dignitaries in attendance, resoultions passed by Congress, etc. Book shows some soil to cover but is tight and in very good condition overall.

New York: Putnam, 1954. First U.S. . Hard. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾"- 9¾" tall. A nice copy of this collection of biographical sketches. Text by Tynan, photos and jacket design by Beaton. First U.S. printing. Near fine, save browning on pages facing spots where non-archival tape was used to affix protective jacket cover. Also, a crease in the Cole Porter photo. Jacket has tiny chip at base of spine, some wear at front edge and where front panel of jacket meets spine, else quite good.

New York: Crown, 1966. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾"- 9¾" tall. Wonderful snapshot of the 1965-66 theatre season in New York. Cast lists and photos from all major productions. Frontis shows Angela Lansbury in Mame. This is ex-school library, with stamp to title page, discoloration where card flap was removed, and some stray pen marks to front pastedown/ffep. Otherwise, in nice shape--grey boards, no jacket.

Boston: Harry N Abrams, 1991. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. A fabulous gift for music lovers. This gorgeous, oversized volume is profusely illustrated in b/w. It tells the story in pictures of Porter's two "Grand Tours" in 1955 and 1956, as documented by Jean Howard who was long for the ride. Book is as-new, unmarked, with a jacket that only shows the slightest hint of wear. Gift-giving condition.
