Unmarked but for gift inscription (association copy signed by James McDiarmid of McDiarmid Lumber of Winnipeg). 8" x 10", 215 pages, tipped-in frontispiece and 24 additional tipped-in illustrations, all with tissue-guards on on grey cards - by artist G. Denholm Armour. Robert Surteees created the character of Jorrocks in a book first published in 1854.
