Garden City: Doubleday, 1952. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Earl Oliver Hurst. First edition. Very good book in good dust jacket. Jacket has a large chip on spine (missing top 1 inch of spine panel including all of the title), has closed tears and wear on edges; a couple of small chips on flap folds; now in new removable protective cover. Tan cloth covered boards with green letters on spine; spine and cornes are bumped. Pages are clean and unmarked; another bookstore has added a loss prevention sticker on rear end page. Doubleday & Company hardcover with dust jacket, first edition 1952 (stated on copyright page); 222 pages. 8vo (5.5"" x 8.25"") Barmy Fotheringay-Phipps (one of Bertie Wooster's friends) comes to New York and gets mixed up in producing a Broadway play with the usual Wodehouse results.
