Manchester, Great Britain: Chetham Society, 1888. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good. Almost Square Format. This is a complete 4 volume set which consists of volumes 15, 16, 17 and 18 in the Chetham Society New Series (second series). 836 pages in all. The full title is "The History of the Church and Manor of Wigan in the County of Lancaster". Contains a mass of information from original sources. Very Good in original blind stamped burgundy decorative cloth gilt hard cover binding. These are Ex-Reference Library books and each bears a bookplate on front pastedown and neat rubber stamps. There is also a library accession number at the bottom of each spine. In part II there is a small piece missing from the front end paper about 3cm x 1cm. I have only displayed 1 image but the set is in Very Good uniform condition showing only a little wear at the top of the spine. A very pleasing and substantial set. WILL REQUIRE EXTRA POSTAGE OUTSIDE UK - PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR QUOTE.
