Description:
Omaha: Joslyn Art Museum, 1986. softcover in clamshell. Fine. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. Photographs and Drawings. Small folio in printed wraps. With 53 black & white photos in a folding clamshell case. Signed by the author on the Joslyn Art Museum's applique, applied to the half-title. The case also has an "Autographed Copy" sticker applied to front board. Apparently the signed copies were limited, as there are a number of unsigned copies about, but no indication on how many were so issued. The book and plates are fine; the case has a touch of surface rubbing and small square of sticker residue (old glue; there is no actual scuff), to the rear panel. Clean, tight and unmarked. Size: Folio - over 12" - 15" tall

Bound in black pebbled cloth backed with black leather; spine titles and decorations stamped in gilt. The first twenty-four issues of this periodical, bound by the publisher. The paper is thick and creamy, with a slight sepia tint (Laid that way, not toned by age). Each issue is dedicated to a particular form of art, from children's paintings to architecture to the painting of birds. Issue number 16, "American Birds of Beauty", is illustrated with six color plates Edward Howe Forbush, who also wrote the text for the article. Each of the 24 issues is fully illustrated with photographs or facsimile artwork. This copy shows mild edgewear with some chipping at the head and heel of the spine, which also has a crack in the…
