Zinssers May 1958" apparently from the family of Zinsser who died in 1940, about the time this book was first published. DJ is in Brodart, spine is age discolored, corners & spine ends lightly chipped; book in VG clean tight condition..

Boston: J. Belcher, 1809 Book. Fair. Hardcover. "...Likewise a brief acount of Mr. Wardle's Charges..." full leather. Ffep appears missing (starts w/half-title), extremeties are bumped and rubbed and hinges are rubbed. Front hinge split not quite 1". Marbled edges nearly rubbed away. Foxing throughout, but pages quite supple and tight. (There is no portrait in this edition as the title page states.).

Philadelphia: Carey, Lea & Blanchard, 1835 Book. Good. Hardcover. Hardback in blue cloth, white pastedown label to spine. Slightly cocked, corners bumped, hinges weak but holding. Spotty foxing throughout, free of any markings, pages supple. This edition only has four illustrations, but nothing appears to have been removed. 281 pages plus advertisements.
