Dublin: Purdon Brothers, 1870. recent case binding by myself of a rather battered copy that I salvaged, new boards and endpapers, spine re-glued and strengthened, no half-title, small amount of loss at top of title-page and preface, text block otherwise clean, tight and sound, xi, 496 pages, gilt title from original edition salvaged and glued to spine (see photos). Purdon Brothers ran a printing business on Bachelors Walk, Dublin, and published The Irish Farmer's Gazette. In the preface they credit one R. O. Pringle with much of the work on this volume. It is rare, apparently. The National Library of Ireland has a copy of an 1863 edition, otherwise nothing else anywhere at time of posting. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Early Edition.. Hard Cover.
