When did you get started in bookselling?

We started bookselling in 1993.

What drew you to bookselling?

We, my husband and I, are booklovers from our early childhood. So it was not a surprise we found each other, and we found our business, a specialized internet bookshop.

Did you have any mentors in becoming a bookseller?

My husband was and is my mentor in bookselling ;-)

What are your specialties as a dealer?

We are specializing in Classical Antiquity in the broad sense of the word.

What is your favorite part of being a bookseller?

Making our inventory - describing the book, often with parts of a (scientific) review.

Do you have an open storefront or have you in the past?

We are an internet bookstore, open on appointment only. But we like to meet our customers! Last year we met a customer from Hong Kong, and we have

Our cat does not visit our bookstore ;-)

What do you personally like to read? Collect?

I am definitely a poem reader and collector.

What's your favorite book you personally own? Would you sell it, if the price were right?
