No dustwrapper, some fading to gilt titles on spine, minor bumping to spine ends and corners of green boards, some old water spillage marks inside front board and on first few pages, a previous owner's bookplate inside front board, but otherwise a not too bad, tight copy of this hard-cover book. Deals with the life of Henry Morse, an English Catholic Priest who was executed for his his Faith at Tyburn in 1645. He had previously helped look after victims of the Plague at Newcastle and London. 201pp, 7 b&w illustrations.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
