STATED FIRST EDITION DECEMBER 1943!! There is no dust jacket (I'm not sure if there's supposed to be one). The pages are clear and readable and are in nice shape, but there is a musty, moderately strong smell throughout the book. There is minor wear on the covers, but the spine has tears and abrasions. If these imperfections don't bother you, then here is a GREAT DEAL on a rare collectible!!!

FIRST EDITION (hardcover) - 1940 - in a SLIP CASE. This book is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, and would even look LIKE NEW except for the dust jacket which has tears, etc. and is taped up in various places. The slip case has minor to moderate wear.
