Amsterdam: Covens & Mortier, 1740 Engraving on two sheets, 48 x 62 cm each, old color. A map or the theater of Russian-Turkish war 1736-39. A compilation based on maps printed ca. 1737, including Russian maps and, possibly, Turkish maps. Definitely not by Guillaume Delisle, a prominent French cartographer died in 1726. Beautiful specimen printed on thick paper and nicely colored.
