Publication is undated and was sponsored by Mother Lode Apple Ranch. Pre-Internet, probably 1980s.

Recipes are credited, line drawings, half inch gage white comb plastic spiral binding. 2nd edition, n.d. but information in the introduction (pages I-X) suggest circa 1980 for the first edition. Recipes feature the Newton Pippin variety grown in the Pajaro Valley of Santa Cruz county.

Charles E. Tuttle Company, 1965. 1st Edition . Soft cover. Fair. BW photos, index, 141 pages. Text uniformly yellowed with no markings. One chip to front cover at head, cover art still looks nice but edges are substantially worn, spine is sunned and has stress lines, gatefold covers clipped and creased on front flap, not gift quality but despite damage still an excellent reading or reference copy. Stated 1965 first edition.

Prune Ideas, 1988. Spiral. Good. Wraps scuffed, creased corners, interior fine, organized with tabs. Metal ringbound, 124 recipes, index, contributors' names included (not just individuals, but other entities like the California Prune Board or Sunsweet Growers). This cookbook is from the first annual festival held in Yuba City in 1988. Name later changed to California Dried Plum Festival and it was discontinued in 2002 even though California produces two thirds of the world's supply of prunes.

The title's religious overtones are misleading. This is a fundraiser cookbook with every day Norcal recipes donated to raise funds for Camille Austin to help her with her treatment for Cerebral Palsy.
