Boston: John P. Jewett and Company, 1857. First Edition . Cloth - Hard Cover. Good+/No Dust Jacket. 189 pages, plus large folding color map at frontis. Map is produced by Colton for the publisher and is dated 1857. Blind stamped cloth with gilt stamped lettering and decoration. Covers show a little wear along edges and some chipping at head of spine. There are some spots of discoloration on top cover. End leaves are darkened, and there is a little foxing on first and last few leaves. Folding map shows a half inch closed tear at binding tab, as well as some slight misfolds. Map remains very bright and is otherwise in excellent condition.
