The book has a band around it which has instructions for working the "birdcage" effect on the cover and is signed by Robert Massmann with the limitation number, 10. The text discusses the prevalence of fossils in eastern North America and how Massmann recruited friends and family to send him fossils they had found. Book and fossil in Fine condition, Box is Near Fine with slight wear and light tanning.
