Includes the Chapter entitled, "The Wreck at Robinson Siding" involving Santa Fe number 8 the eastbound mail train and number 19 the westbound Chief. This fatal collision occurred on September 5, 1956 south of Springer, New Mexico. Twenty two people died because of the Robinson Switch point disaster. Read the full story here.
