Henderson (1877-1963) 190 saw an amateur performance of George Bernard Shaw's "You Can Never Tell" and decided tha Shaw was not being appreciated. He contacted Shaw and became his official biographer culminating in 3 biographies 1911,1932, & 1956. He also penned numerous histories of North Carolina.
