Beverly Hills CA: Hanson Galleries, 1989. Cloth slightly toned, the jacket with some light wear at extremities, but a fine copy. 11 x 8.25 inches. 73 pages. Illustrated in color and black-and-white. Original black cloth, lettered in gold; pictorial dust jacket. First edition, boldly signed across the entire span of a front flyleaf: "For Max Love Peter Max 1990." Designed by Victor Zurbel, and with Black's critical text that traces Max's various styles throughout his career. Inscribed and signed copies are scarce.
