Children's book, illustrated by Robert Lawson. This copy inscribed To Doris Galehouse and signed by the author.

Very Good book that has wear to board edges with bit of cardboard showing, soft at spine ends, two small bumps top edge of boards, bit of soiling and toning to edges of page block; in price-clipped Good dust jacket that has edge and corner wear with some color loss along folds and ends of spine, with sun darkening to spine, soiling and fading. This copy has been signed by Hunt on the half-title page, and there is a gift inscription to front end page, dated 1950. Book won a Newbery Honor Award in 1951.

First edition of 1970, Very Good 11 ¼ by 8 ½ inches in soft cover with light edge and corner wear with sun toning spine and portion back panel, and 3 inch crease top corner first four pages and back three pages – see photos. Signed by Sendak with inscription to an individual. Book has text by Sendak on two pages and remaining ten pages show various Sendak sketches from the early 1950's.

Good book that has slight bumps bottom corners, some fading top edges, soft at spine ends, and with sun dulled spine; in a Fair to Good dust jacket that has been clipped bottom corner but with 6.95 price present top flap corner, edge wear and rubbing, with a number of small closed tears along edges, soft spine ends, and with tear and small hole on spine. Foster child Gilly tries to cope, while longing for her real mother. This was a Newberry Honor book, in addition to winning the 1979 National Book Award for Children's titles.

Subtitled: "Two Nursery Rhymes with Pictures." Not a 1st but very early printing with flap price $4.95 rather than $4.25 (other points all as within Hanrahan 2001). Very Good to Near Fine book withrubbing bottom edges and corners, just through to board at bottom front corner, small black spot on back board, previous owner's bookplate opposite half title page. In a similar jacket with light soiling back panel, light edge and corner wear, sun fade to spine. This copy has been signed by Sendak on the half title page.

Winner of the 2018 Newberry Medal. A story about four intertwining friendships told from perspective of two boys and two girls.

Fine minus unread book with slight crimps at spine ends, in a Fine minus dust jacket with a light vertical rub to each panel. Slightly misaligned in binding with shift toward back board. This copy signed by Hautman on title page. In 2028 a deadly flu virus ravages the earth and only one in 2000 survives. Set in Arizona.

Very Good to Near Fine, oversize childrens' book, in pictorial boards with light bumps at spine ends and wear and slight color loss at corners, in a Very Good jacket that has been clipped at bottom corner front flap but with price of $4.95 at top corner, light edge wear, touch of soiling and a 1/4 inch closed tear bottom edge front panel.

First edition 1st printing, Near Fine book that has been bumped at bottom of spine, in a Very Good jacket with edge and corner wear, touch of sun yellowing on spine, spine panel shifted slightly toward front panel, slight color loss, light rubbing on panels, couple of stray red marks back panel, few light overwrite impressions, including one over the price. Illustrated in B/W by Harold West. Quite nice copy of a scarce title.
