Illustrated with full color photographs as well as some black & white photos and drawings. Book is near fine with minor edge wear. Inside front cover has a light tan mark as from something left between the pages that tanned. The dust jacket, not clipped, is very good, with moderate edge wear, rubbed and bumped along edges and at corners and spine ends. There is a closed tear to the front lower corner and it is missing a piece of the plastic laminate. Also, there is a hard crease to the front flap. The picture is a scan of the actual book.

There is a roughness to the bottom edge, can't tell if accidental or result of production run. Interior of the book is pristine. The dust jacket shows wear at the ends of the spine and at the corners which are also rubbed. In addition, the jacket cover has a piece of glossy wrap torn from the paper leaving a white piece the size of fingernail tip.

The photographs indicate the book is geared for older children interested in woodworking but with adult supervision. "Simple woodwork" is misleading. The projects in the book look more complicated and quite professional. These projects make me think of Eagle scouts working on a badge or along similar lines, but very meticulous Eagle scouts. Cloth-covered boards with the wear expected given age, shelf worn and rubbed in a couple of places. There are several small spots where rubbed through to the board.
