This is two photographic books about New Zealand, produced by the prominent photographer Martin Barriball (1929-2012). Barriball was commissioned to spend 18 months photographing the country; in 1982, the books were published, with text by local historians and journalists:
New Zealand in Colour with text by Michael King and
New Zealand's South Island in Colour, with text by Mervyn Dykes.
Both of these books are unread, unopened and in pristine condition. They're identical—blue boards with brilliant gold printing on the spine. Unclipped dust jackets, both jackets with tiny bits of shelfwear.
Both 8 ¾" x 11 ½", both 112 pages. The first book is a second printing, the second is a first edition.
