The plates show Rchmond Bridge, the View from Richmond Hil, Hampton Court Palace, scenes around Virigina Water, different parts of Windsor Castle and a view of Eton College and another of the quadrangle.

Addison was an eminent and highly regarded doctor, specifically an anatomist, and was initially a Liberal MP and a junior mnister in various Lloyd George governments. He later joned the Labour party and was a minister under both Ramsay MacDonald and Clem Attlee, subsequently becoming a peer and serving as Leader of the House of Lords under Attlee. He was brought up on a family farm in Lincolnshire and was Minster of Agriculture from 1930 to 1931 under MacDonald.

The chart is corrected to 1857 and there are seven lighthouses marked around the coast. There is no reference number shown on the map although the surveyors are identified as Cmdrs. Aldington was one of the group of war poets commemorated in a memorial in Poet's Corner in Westminster Abbey. His 1927 biography of T E Lawrence scandalised many readers with its charges of Lawrence's being a liar, charlatan and homosexual and aroused a considerable storm, damaging Lawrence's reputation in the process. John Murray, London, 1960, first edition; 8vo, pp 147; 20 photographic plates, mostly of live dolphins in the water but also of historic representations, and also some line drawings in the text; very good copy with a slightly frayed pictorial dust-wrapper, the image reproduced also on the front cover. Alpers, a New Zealander, learned of the intelligence and friendliness of a dolphin that had appeared in a north coast bay and stayed to interact and play with bathers, and duly wrote this book looking at dolphins from ancient and other history and well as explainig the biology, habits, family life and stories of "the cleverest mamaal of the sea" and a fascinating and clearly high intelligent and gregarious animal.

Pete Armstrong was associated with the poetry magazine Resuscitator (edited by poets John James and Nick Wayte and published from 1963 on) and some of the poems in 28 Poems were earlier published in Resuscitator and in Move.
