One of 100 numbered copies (copy No.28). Slightly worn copy. <br /> <br /> The book's first edition featured a note on the title page stating "As a manuscript." It was never republished and practically remains the only biographical work available on Maklakov, who was a highly esteemed lawyer, social and political figure, and leader of the Cadet Party. Maklakov was revered as one of the greatest lawyers of his era and played a pivotal role in significant legal cases in pre-revolutionary Russia, such as the Beilis Case. Furthermore, he served as a deputy in the II, III, and IV State Dumas and authored numerous articles, books, and memoirs.

No. 12, 1966.<br /> <br /> Between 1958 and 1970, a literary almanac was published in Germany and the USA, consisting of only 15 issues. Initially, the first ten issues were published in Munich by the Publishing House of the Central Association of Political Emigrants from the USSR. Following the liquidation of the publishing house, two additional issues were published by the "Association of Foreign Writers." The last three issues (1968-1970) were published in the USA by the almanac editor, G. Andreev, who relocated there. Over the course of 12 years, approximately 400 works by 200 authors were published within the almanac.
