I bought these new and they are all about fine. A lovely set -- all issues in protective sleeve and backing boards. In my viiew, rhis set is the best way to read the entire Barks WDCS run.

Contents fine free of all markings, no bumps, Captions insert included (also fine). There a are of couple of shallow scratches on the back cover and a hairline paper split on the front gutter (about an inch), and minor edge wear. Bindng completely solid. A bright, very clean copy of this classic.

Wiley and Putnam, 1842 and 1844. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. Volume 1 (1842) and Volume 2 (1944), both in 3/4 cloth bindings that are basically shot. This is a working set -- both volumes have some soiling to a few pages, occassional paper repair, but contents complete and generally clean.

Book is tight and square: near fine boards (very fresh). Dustjacket is an attractive VG: yellow and black illustrations with a couple of closed tears, small chips, and a few drops of red wax. All letering is clear, DJ looks quite nice in the mylar sleeve.
