Several related newspaper articles are loosely included. Clean and tight with NO inscriptions or torn pages. Front cover and spine have some fading, corners are lightly rubbed. Internally it is clean and tight with light foxing to the EPs. A very good copy.

Georgian House 1946 First Ed. Tall 8vo 171p Red Cloth Boards. B/W frontis, many clear B/W photos and 1 B/W fold out map.Narrative of the 1939 expedition of the Simpson Desert in Australia. The book is strongly bound and internally bright and clean. The corners and edges show light rubbing and there is some age spotting to the FEP and page ends. A small previous owners name has been rubbed from the reverse of the frontis photo. Although the book lacks the dust jacket it is a handsome copy of this scarce first edition. The price has been heavily discounted to compensate for the missing dust jacket.

Chris Mainwaring.Near fine condition with just some slight creasing to the first 2 pages. The book has a large number of related newspaper articles loosely inserted which shed light on Chris' life and legacy. A must have book for West Coast Eagles fans.

Collins, London 1955, 8vo 320p green paper H/B. First pub. in Australia 1947, this London edition 1955. Catherine Gaskin's first novel which was said to be a 'triumph'. SIGNED Catherine Gaskin, on the title page. Slight top edge staining, pages beginning to show age yellowing. The cover is clean and bright with virtually no rubbing to edges or corners. Binding is tight and strong. The dust jacket is torn at the lower spine, worn along the spine edges and corners with small tears and chipping. The back of the jacket has a short biography of Catherine and promotion for her latest novel 'Sara Dane'. A very scarce copy and to the best of my knowledge the only signed copy available.

Methodist Book Depot 1930, Sm 8vo, 46p stapled soft cover. The story of the Methodist Church in Western Australia from 1830 - 1930. B/W Frontis and numerous B/W photos. Staples are rusty causing staining to front cover and title page. Some age yellowing to paper but unmarked internally and in very good condition for a 90 year old soft cover. A very scarce book and to the best of my knowledge the only 1st edition available for sale.

Colleen Mccullogh's and possibly Australia's finest novel. Large 8vo, blind stamped, deckle cut, hard cover in near fine condition. The dust jacket is unclipped, bright and clean but has some small dents and chips to the edges. There are many related newspaper articles and interviews covering her later life, illnesses and finally an obituary, all loosely inserted. These signed first editions are becoming rare and the prices continue to climb. This is a piece of Australian literary history which will be an excellent investment.
