Phoebe Cary was a staunch supporter of women's rights and edited "Revolution", published by Susan B. Anthony. Covers mostly clean, with moderate wear to head and foot of spine. Illustrated with two black and white steel engraved plates showing the portraits of Alice and Phoebe Cary. Tissue guard for Alice's portrait is mostly missing. 351 pp text clean and unmarked.
