Eastlack, of Crawfordsville, Indiana, would go on to military service in Company H, 11th Indiana Infantry, on April 14, 1862, and muster out March 22, 1865. The 11th Indiana was organized at Indianapolis, August 31, 1861, and moved to Paducah, Kentucky, for duty, on September 6, 1861.
