Description:
New York: Avalon, 1960. first. hardcover. good/good. Ed Emshwiller. First edition. Former library item, with expected imperfections, markings, etc. Dust jacket looks very nice, with these flaws: it is price clipped; has darkened library sticker on the spine; some chipping at lower front flap hinge; now in new removable protective cover. Brick red cloth covered boards with black printing on the spine; spine is bumped but binding is solid and strong. Apart from library markings beginning with front paste down thru the title page, text pages are unmarked. There is a large chip at the top of the half-title page, apparently from removal of the date due slip. Some stray fingerprints on the first 5 pages.
