David R. Godine. Boston. 1981. 142 pages. The green covers are in very good condition with no markings, only slight wear on the lower edges. The front cover has a beautiful stamped drawing in silver and dark green by Teresa Ellis; title and author in dark green tin spine. The binding is firm. The dust jacket is price-clipped, frayed with some loss at the top of spine, and faded in spots, especially the spine which is heavily sunned. The interior pages are in very good condition. There is no writing or spotting.

Adirondack Museum/Syracuse University Press. Syracuse. 1968 . First Edition stated. viii 207 pages. The tan covers are in very good condition, with only some minor bumping along the top and bottom of spine/corners and a small spot on the front edge. The title and editor are in gold on blue on the spine. The binding is solid. The dust jacket is essentially missing, but the inside front flap of the dust jacket with original price ($13.75) is laid in the back. The interior of the book is in very good condition with no writing detected; there is a rather large smudge mark on page 55 but the rest of the pages appear to be clean. There are two small spots on the page edges. The book includes many black/white photographs, including some dated from the late 1800's and early 1900's. The book also includes 3 maps, one of which is a two-page fold-out of the Cranberry Lake region. The book includes writings by the editor, Albert Fowler and other authors including Atwood Manley and Marshall Howlett Durston.

The green covers are good condition, with minor bumping on top and bottom of spine and corners. There is fading and some color loss and spotting to the covers and spine; there is a white spot on the front cover. The spine is sunned, but gold grass, volume number, and publisher are still visible. The title, author in gold on black background on top of spine. The binding is solid, although the gutter is visible when open in a couple of locations internally. Page top-edges are gilt, with a few scratches in gilt. The interior of this book is in good plus condition. There is no writing detected, a small stamp of a previous owners name is on the front free endpaper.
