One of the earlier books pictured by highly regarded illustrator, Helen Sewell, who was also the original illustrator of the Wilder Little House books. This collection of related fairy tales is surprisingly scarce.  The original Norwegian edition was published by Aschelon, Oslo, under the title ?Magic Mountains'."
