There are some stains on the first few pages including the endpaper. Some of the early pages also have soil marks but there are no tears in the book. The dust jacket has a small tear at the top of the spine but is encased in mylar so it has been protected from further wear. 311 pp.

Holt, Rinehart and Winston, New York, 1976. Book Club edition. Very good. Great book by the author of 'The Eagle has Landed". Some spots on the top edge but the pages are clean and unmarked throughout with minor age toning to pages. Dust Jacket is very good but for one small tear on the upper rear corner about 1/4 inch. Overal thsi copy is in very good condition. 280 pp.
