A late Victorian memorial ring for the book illustrator Kate Greenaway, the 18ct gold ring centered with a glazed hairwork panel within black enamel border, and between black enamel shoulders with gold scrollwork detail, the underside engraved 'Kate Greenaway b March 17.1846, d November 6.1901', shank fully hallmarked for Chester, 1902 and bearing maker's mark 'WHR', ring size S (leading edge).

MINIATURE Artwork, circa 1885-1895.
Original pencil and watercolor drawings on toned paper, the bottom titled in pencil: "The cloud baby gone to sleep".
Pictures measures 1-7/8 x 2-1/2 and 2 x 3 inches (framed together).

Delicate illustrations typical for her set of Almanacs (1883–1895), though we have not confirmed their specific publication. Nevertheless, absolutely authentic and genuine.

Sold four months after his death, Dr Kervorkian's archive comprises nearly a dozen historical lots inventoried in his estate auction sale, a copy of the catalogue is likewise included:1. 2pp. typed interviews transcript with three San Quentin death row inmates and subsequent 2pp. signed Petition of 27 Death Row Prisoners in support of execution by lethal injection as opposed to lethal gas, as the former would allow use of the prisoners' body parts for organ donation while the latter would not. Square 4to., 93 pp. + colophon, [2] adverts; pictorial wrappers with Art Deco style design in black outline with blue pochoir decoration, original protective glassine wrapper (lightly tanned), overall a fine copy.
Illustrated with Twenty pochoir color plates by Jessie M. King.
One of a Limited edition of 550 copies, of which 500 were printed on velin paper, and 50 copies printed on japon paper.
This copy is number 196 of the 500 on velin paper.
The delicate illustrations for this book are considered to be some of King's finest; prepared during Jessie M. King's time in Paris. They are reproduced using the stencil technique known as Pochoir, which produces clearer and more vibrant colors.
