A first (thus) edition of Keightley's collection of fairy stories. He published this 'reissue' as he called it some five years after the original, with amendments. Sometimes known as the second issue. Overwhelmingly, pages are very good indeed: bright and clean. Some have spotting, and a few especially at the start have a little light staining. But most are really very nice. Front and rear endpapers have heavy brown tape residue of presumably an earlier protective cover applied. Two small inscriptions are on FEP and opening page. Opening pages condition not as good as rest of book. Front hinge and (less so) rear hinge has a little detachment, though overall binding is generally tight. Spine has a piece missing at top, and is generally eroded here and there. Front and back cover generally fine. Barbara Ker Wilson relates some classic Scottish folk tales and legends, vividly bringing them to life. Lovely illustrations by Joan Kiddell-Monroe. A nice copy. The 1957 reprint. Pages clean and unmarked with just natural age wear. DJ is clipped but clean, and with just wear on the top edges including a very small missing segment at the top of the spine. Kirsch examines the case of Reb Hile Wechsler who apparently predicted the Holocaust in his 1881 'a word of warning' brochure. In very good condition. Pages are clean and unmarked, with just some slight foxing and natural age wear on edges. DJ is unclipped, one or two small enclosed tears on the top of the spine and the top of the front flap. Knight and Lomas begin by examining the provenance of the Turin Shroud, and end up going both back in time to Jesus' crucifixion, and forwards to the connection to the Knights Templar and the secrets of Freemasonry. Along the way we stop off at Rosslyn, Jerusalem, and elsewhere, and end up looking at the significance of Templar Grand Master Jaques de Molay. A fascinating read.

Would be very hard to find this 1st edition 1st printing in better condition. Now in a professional removable cover. 288pp

An excellent copy of Korff's examination of the infamous 1947 Roswell incident 50 years on. A relative rarity in the field in that it focuses on debunking the alien theories. Written with considerable research and containing new witness interviews. Includes photos and an index. A really clean and tight copy. Pages are clean and bright, no markings or creases, possibly unread. DJ is excellent, no fading or creases, clipping or chips. A really high quality copy. All now protected in professional clear book wrapper. 264 pp with b&w plates

All with teachings and writings of renowned Indian Spiritualist Jiddu Krishnamurti. VG condition, 1930s journals have natural age wear. Also two Proceedings of the Society for Psychical Research of January and June 1926. Both VG, June edition VG+ with no markings, January edition has a mark on cover and foxing on one or two front pages otherwise excellent also. Both illustrated. See photo.
