The poems focus on the little indignities of childhood with tongue in cheek humor. Gift inscription on dedication page, and a young owner has added water color to some of the line drawings, keeping beautifully between the lines. Front hinge starting, and white lettering on spine mostly gone, but this remains an attractive copy of an underrated book.
