Truly a travelogue of adventures "Round the World" with some in the United States including cattle punching in Kansas (though not listed in Adams [Rampaging Herd]. With black and white illustrations, and a number of maps, all of which are present as called for. A clean copy, with some toning to the endpapers. The rear hinge has been most discreetly reinforced. The dustjacket is present and appears to have been trimmed at the top by 3/8". The dustjacket is now protected with a new mylar cover. Very Good binding / Good dust jacket.

Near Fine binding. 10 gelatin silver prints each with the embossed photographer's motif on the recto; an autochrome color plate is tipped in to the inside from cover. Each silver print is a printed folder with a "window" and protected with a tissue guard (one tissue guard has loss and an old scotch tape repair). Numbered 20 "in a worldwide edition of 7500". There is a handsomely printed and illustrated pamphlet by Lartigue. The printed reproduction label attached to the case lining is signed by Lartigue. Housed in an embossed pale blue velvet covered case with marbled paper lining. The top and bottom edges of the "drop-box" tray have been quite discreetly repaired with matching japanese tissue.
