Dawsen, 1856" (paper lifts on front free endpaper where something was pasted down to cover the inscription and then removed. Second inscription 1918. Small Bloomingdale's book seller label and a pencil inscription "Holland House" on verso of front free endpaper. Foxing throughout with occasional minor soiling. Condition overall: Very Good.

Leighton, with silk ties supplied by Morris & Co., with gilt titles to spine. One of 500 [at thirty shillings] paper copies (plus none on vellum). Printed on fine, hand-made, Batchelor paper, with yapped edges. Uncut, deckled edges. Colophon and smaller, rectangular printer's device designed by Morris (no. 1) twice (at front and back).
