Unclipped dustjacket has some hardly-noticeable sunning along the edges, and a crease on the front flap, else little wear. Some of the dye from the cover has transferred to the inside of the jacket, but is not visible from outside.

This title was reissued in 2008, but this copy is the original publication, bound in sewn signatures in real cloth covers. Binding and hinges are strong. No marks to text. Pages and endpapers toned. There is some wear to the cloth, but not much. Corners a little bumped. Spine slightly faded, but title still eminently readable. Overall a nice, solid copy that will last.

Featuring a lot of bare-breasted "anthropological" studies, this was probably regarded as a "dirty book" in 1935. There is even a page of 10 drawings showing "Different types of female breasts and nipple formation." A pretty solid copy, opening widely but sewn binding is firm. Hinges are intact but there are two small holes in the rear pastedown just next to the hinge, showing through to the webbing. ***Pages are rather grubby***, and endpapers are toned. Cloth is worn and somewhat grubby. Fore-edge smudged. One page vertically creased, affecting the plates.
