In Good Plus condition - wear at spine top and bottom, fading to spine, slightly cocked, corners bumped, spine rubbing, but overall in nice shape, internals clean with minmal toning. The wonderful engravings make this piece of Victoriana.

Sheehy played a part in the movement Tom Wolfe called the New Journalism, sometimes known as creative nonfiction, in which journalists and essayists experimented with adopting a variety of literary techniques such as scene setting, dialogue, status details to denote social class, and getting inside the story and sometimes reporting the thoughts of a central character. This compilation of tunes is seen as a learning aid and is part of the development of Traditional Irish Music Schoool at the Coleman Heritage Centre. The versions of the tunes are written in the style they are played in the South Sligo area. This work and research was undertaken by Colm O'Donnell, Gregory Daly and John Carty. Jackie Small edited the publication. Fantastic resource for pure playing.
