Volume is toned with a vertical fold, both corners of front cover missing with bottom chip also taking the bottom corner of the first four leaves, slightly rolled with some scattered soil and creasing. Wherein Schmeling correctly predicts the outcome of the June 18th, 1936 fight between Joe Louis and himself - resulting in Louis' only knockout defeat during his prime, just 5 days after the publication of this issue. With cover art by Sam Brown showing a fighter resting between rounds in his corner of the ring while looking on with disbelief at an autograph-seeking fan.

Madison County, IL: Madison County Superintendent, 1869. Certificate. Very Good. Teaching certificate (5-1/2 x 8-1/2 inches wide), executed in letterpress and manuscript on both recto and verso, for H.E. Mills and signed by the Superintendent J.N. Van Clive, giving the graded results of his Oct. 2nd, 1869 examination on verso. Certificate is toned with two fold lines, a single 1/4 inch closed fold line tear to one edge, light wear and some fading to ink. An early and uncommon Second Grade Teacher's Certificate, issued in Madison County, Illinois just shortly after the "Golden Spike" was driven to mark the completion of the First Transcontinental Railroad at Promontory Summit in Utah Territory.

Printed pictorial map, 14-7/8 inches tall x 19-3/4 inches wide (printed border 13-1/16 inches x 18-5/16 inches), scale is 3" to 800 ', shows muster stations, entrances, train stations, various palace buildings, troop locations, HQ and both Royal Enclosures. This 99 year old survivor has the original fold lines with some toning, light soil and a few tiny fold line tears. Now flattened and in archival Mylar, ships rolled. The Scout Rally at Alexandra Palace - attended by 40,000 boy scouts and 20,000 cub scouts, was organized to welcome the Prince of Wales home from his World Tour in 1922.

An 8.5 x 11 inch albumen silver salts photograph, pasted onto the original 10 x 14 inch stiff card album leaf, capturing here a circa 1880s entrance view of the Sri Lankan landmark Galle Face Hotel. The Galle Face Hotel - known locally as "The Grand Dame of Colombo" was built in 1864 while Sri Lanka was still known as Ceylon and under British colonial rule. The hotel is still in operation today.
