Blind decorated turn-ins, with Serpentine marbled endpapers, and all edges marbled. Some light spotting throughout, more so to preliminaries, black ink inscription to flyleaf dated 1874. Toning and slight wear to spine. A very good, attractive copy. William of Wykeham was the founder of Winchester College and New College, Oxford.

Toning to edges, mostly top. A bit of soiling and rubbing to cloth. Gilt titles partially rubbed. Minor wear to joints and extremities. Very good. Very scarce copy of a lesser-known novel which opens on a dialogue between angels and takes place in the fictional kingdom of Belino. Walker wrote many other works of a similarly religious note, most of them poems or non-fiction.
